A new way to give at a simcha

Scan. Choose a side. Tap.

Tap Simcha puts one small code at every hall. Guests scan it, pick the chosson’s side or the kallah’s side, and give any amount with a tap of their card. No envelope, no app, no account — and nothing shown to anyone else.

Works with Apple Pay, Google Pay and any card · ten seconds from scan to done

How it works

From the table to the family in three taps

  1. 1

Scan the code at the hall

Every Tap Simcha hall has a small sign at the door and on the tables. Point your phone camera at it — no app to download.

  2. 2

Choose the simcha and the side

Tonight’s simchas are already listed. Pick the chosson’s side or the kallah’s side — or the family, by a bar mitzvah, bris or kiddush.

  3. 3

    Tap any amount

Apple Pay, Google Pay or your card. Add your name and a line of mazel tov, or give quietly without a name.

Good for everyone at the simcha

For guests

No more envelopes and no more running to the bank. Give what you want, in ten seconds, and get back to the dancing.

For the baalei simcha

Every gift lands in one place, with the giver’s name and a note — nothing lost on the table, nothing to count at 2 a.m.

For halls

One sign, every simcha. You add your dates in a minute; we handle the rest. Your hall becomes the easy place to give.

Not only on the night

Open from the invitation until a month after

Each simcha has a start date and a deadline. Guests who could not come can still give from home, and the family receives everything together when the window closes.

Works with what halls already use

Tap Simcha connects to the payment tools halls and gabbaim know, so a hall adds nothing new at the door.

Questions people ask

Does the family see who gave?+

Yes — your name and your note go to the family, unless you choose to give without a name. Amounts are never shown to other guests.

Is there a fee?+

A small processing fee per gift, the same as any card payment. You can choose to cover it so the family receives the full amount.

Can I give after the simcha?+

Yes. Every simcha has a giving window — by default from two weeks before until thirty days after. The deadline is shown on the simcha’s page.

What if I don’t know which side?+

Choose “both sides” and the gift is split evenly.

Which simchas can be listed?+

Anything a hall lists: weddings, tenoim, vorts, sheva brachos, bar mitzvahs, brissim and kiddushim.

Do I need an app or an account?+

No. Scan the code with your phone camera, choose, tap. That is all.
